We are temporarily strengthening our team with a communicator for our externally funded environmental and climate projects. The work focuses on communication efforts that advance Malmö City's climate and environmental work. With us, you will work on both big and small tasks in a varied everyday life. Responsibilities

Your main task is to work with communication in various projects and assignments aimed at achieving Malmö City's climate and environmental goals.

In your role, you will for example:

Make complex content clear and engaging for different target groups
Produce content for our channels
Develop communication products independently or in collaboration with external agencies
Collaborate in teams with colleagues in the communications department

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in strategic communication or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer.

You are a communicator who can express yourself easily in both spoken and written language, in both Swedish and English. You have some experience, for example through employment or internships.

You easily switch between large and small tasks and are used to writing and creating content for the web, social media, and various events. You should have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

We are looking for an unpretentious person who finds it easy to collaborate in different teams. You are creative and have the ability to concretize and explain complex contexts simply. You can quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of work, are structured, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.

The position is until the end of the year. We are located at Bergsgatan 17 in Malmö, just a stone's throw from Triangeln station and Möllevången. We warmly welcome your application!

About the workplace

The communications department of the Environmental Administration consists of eight employees, five of whom are communicators tasked with communicating Malmö City's climate and environmental work. We work both strategically and practically with internal and external communication. This means that we together plan, develop, coordinate, quality assure, and follow up on the administration's communication work.

The Environmental Administration leads and coordinates Malmö City's climate and environmental work. Through supervision and control according to the Environmental Code and the Food Act, we work for a safe environment that is not harmful to human health. We take environmental interests into account in urban planning, coordinate Malmö City's environmental program, and drive efforts for sustainable development in the municipality. Through supervision, advice, and strategic environmental work, we aim for Malmö to become a sustainable city.
